SCREEN / STAGE

SCREEN / STAGE to innowacyjny program, którego celem jest szerzenie pasji do sztuk scenicznych oraz popularyzacja dynamicznie rozwijającego się nurtu teatru cyfrowego, a także stworzenie bezpiecznej przestrzeni do dyskusji. Korzystając z zasobów platformy Digital Theatre+, przygotowaliśmy listę spektakli do wspólnej analizy i omówienia w ramach zaplanowanych spotkań. Projekt jest realizowany przez Pracownię Badawczą Between.Pomiędzy, Bibliotekę Główną Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego oraz Akademickie Centrum Kultury „Alternator” w ramach obchodów 55-lecia Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego.

Pilotażowy cykl spotkań, zaplanowany na semestr letni 2024/2025, jest skierowany przede wszystkim do osób, które posiadają dostęp do zasobów elektronicznych Biblioteki Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego. Zapraszamy również współpracujących z Between.Pomiędzy nauczycieli i nauczycielki ze szkół średnich oraz miłośniczki i miłośników współczesnego teatru anglojęzycznego. Spotkania są otwarte nie tylko dla osób, które studiują na kierunkach filologicznych, ale także na innych wydziałach oraz uczestników i uczestniczek programu Erasmus.

Koncepcję programu Screen / Stage opracował Tomasz Wiśniewski. Koordynatorkami pilotażowego cyklu spotkań są Paulina Peret, absolwentka Uniwersytetu Gdańskiego, anglistka i literaturoznawczyni  oraz  Teodora  Medeleanu,  teatrolożka  związana  z  portalem

„TheTheatreTimes”, doktorantka w Narodowej Akademii Sztuk „George Enescu” w Jassach (Rumunia) i stypendystka programu Erasmus na Uniwersytecie Gdańskim, przy wsparciu studentek anglistyki UG: Weroniki Surowiec oraz Patrycji Zielke. Spotkania odbywają się w ramach Festiwalu Rozproszonego Between.Pomiędzy 2025.

SCREEN / STAGE

SCREEN / STAGE is an innovative programme that aims to spread interest in the performing arts and to popularise the dynamically evolving phenomenon of digital theatre, as well as to create a safe space for discussion. With the use of resources available on the platform Digital Theatre+, we have prepared a list of performances for collective analysis and discussion during scheduled meetings. The project is the result of cooperation among The Between. Pomiędzy Research Group (BPRG), the Library of the University of Gdańsk, and the Academic Culture Centre “Alternator” as part of the celebration of the fifty-fifth anniversary of the foundation of the University of Gdańsk.

The opening series of meetings, scheduled for the summer semester of 2024/2025, is directed to people who have access to the resources of the Library of the University of Gdańsk. We also invite high-school teachers and enthusiasts of contemporary English-language theatre to take part. Meetings are not limited to students of language and literature; students from other faculties and Erasmus programme participants are also welcome.

The concept of the Screen / Stage programme was devised by Tomasz Wiśniewski. The coordinators of the pilot series of meetings are: Paulina Peret, a graduate of the University of Gdańsk in English language and literature; and Teodora Medeleanu, a theatre specialist associated with the global portal TheTheatreTimes, a PhD student at the George Enescu National University of Arts in Iaşi (Romania), and holder of a scholarship from the Erasmus programme at the University of Gdańsk. They will be assisted by Weronika Surowiec and Patrycja Zielke, students of English language and literature at the University of Gdańsk..
